“GO FISH!” yelled Jada from the opposite group. Kids started running to get in their hoop! These kids were playing “Human Go Fish”. It was one of the multiple exciting activities at Camp Anokijig.
At camp, Wet and Wild was my favorite class. Every group got a scooper. We would then go to the lake and with our scooper we would scoop up plants and put them in our buckets. After that we would take them up to the lab and look at the little bugs. It was my favorite class because I liked looking at all the little creatures. Scott was the one teaching this class. Another fun class was “ New Bearing”. We went into the woods and your group had to find objects the size of quarters on the trees. It was hard, but fun. To find the objects we had to use compasses. Scott taught this class also. My favorite activity was untying the rope with our whole class. There were knots and we were all blindfolded and we all worked together to untie the knots. It was my favorite because we had to work together. If you had the choice to go to camp or not, I suggest you should. It was an amazing time!
